Mr. Carasso has a diverse practice advising individuals and small businesses regarding their legal needs. Currently, Mr. Carasso practices in the areas of Wills, Trusts and Estate, and litigation. In addition, Mr. Carasso litigates business and commercial disputes, including breach of contract, employment discrimination, creditor and debtor rights, real estate disputes, as well as litigation affecting individuals, such as personal injury, defamation, estate litigation and family and matrimonial litigation.

Joseph Martin Carasso is the principal of the firm and the primary provider of services. The Law Office of Joseph Martin Carasso was established in 1992. Prior to opening the law office, Mr. Carasso litigated for over 10 years in New York City.

Mr. Carasso is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton and William Mitchell College of Law, located in St. Paul, Minnesota. Mr. Carasso is admitted to practice in the Courts of the State of New York, as well as the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Reflecting his diverse practice, Mr. Carasso is currently a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Sections on Family Law, Trusts and Estates Law and Entertainment Law. Mr. Carasso is also a member of the New York County Lawyers Association.  Mr. Carasso currently volunteers as an arbitrator of fee disputes for the New York County Lawyers Association.
